Welcoming 2022 and its possibilities

There’s something about the start of a new year that symbolizes hope. A fresh start. A chance at a new beginning. Sure its just a change of date, but it stands for so much more than that.

The start of a new year gives us the opportunity to look back on the time that has passed and look forward to the time that is approaching.  It’s the sweet in-between of reflecting and setting goals. To go over the things that were done right, things that could’ve been done better, the lessons learned and the actions that need to be taken.

2021 was a wonderful year for me in business. Getting into the Jilly Box was obviously a major highlight, but besides the exposure and the honor of being a part of something so big, it also gave me clarity on my vision for TAV ceramics.

For a while now, my intention and focus keep rooting back to this one idea – timelessness.  I want to design work that fits into your lives with ease and comfort. Something that you would be able to use over and over again every single day and not tire of looking at it. I don’t know if this is an age thing but as I get older, I feel the need to simplify things. To make them relatable. Comfortable. Something that doesn’t get thrown out in a few months but rather used and cherished for years to come.

There’s quite a few plans in the works for this year. Introducing some new product types, some new collections, eliminating products that no longer serve my vision of timelessness and growing the TAV ceramics team.

I want your purchases to be fueled by intention instead of scarcity. This means making sure that the website is always stocked so you can look at things, mull it over, come back to it, think about it a little more and make your purchases with intention, instead of a fear of things selling out. Growing the team and adding helping hands in the studio will help me fulfil that purpose.

Still so much more to reflect on. So much more to learn. And so much to be grateful for. I’ve said it time and again, none of this would’ve been possible without your support. Thank you for coming along on this wild ride with me. I truly hope your 2022 is bright and blessed. If there’s anything you’d like to see from TAV Ceramics this year, you can always get in touch with me. As always, your input matters most.
